Steps to make to make Dal methi tadka with jeera rice

  1. For jeera rice
    Take a pan add ghee heat it, then add jeera, curry leaves then onion,salt cook for a while,now finally add rice and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  2. For Dal Methi tadka
    Soak Dal for 15 minutes then add little salt, turmeric and pressure cook it for 2 weight whistle
  3. Heat oil in a pan put bay leaf,cinnamon sticks, then add garlic, green chillies, chopped onions, saute well until onion become golden-brown,now add methi leaves fry it then add chopped tomatoes,chilli powder,salt cook well.
  4. Now add cooked Dal to the above pan,mix it well,put little ghee in it and cook for 5 minutes.
    Now for tadka take a pan heat ghee put red chillies, Kashmiri red chilli powder,then add this tadka to the Dal garnish with coriander and spring onion. Now it is ready to serve..
